Howard Raudenbush, Minister of Music Contact: huddan6I37@gmail.com As we came back to in-person services, our musicians learned to use the new sound system and technology, which was, and continues to be, no small accomplishment. In-person singing presented challenges. We pared down our choir ministry to solos, duets and small ensembles. The singers and instrumentalists during this time were unwavering in their faithfulness. The small ensemble format continued until the fall of 2021, with the long-awaited return of our FBC Choir. Praise God! Their joyful exuberance, combined with their commitment to singing praises together, even with constricting masks, is nothing short of exemplary! Thank you, choir! A core of extremely talented and dedicated instrumentalists dramatically increases the effectiveness of the music ministry. Additionally, I would be remiss if I did not acknowledge my deep appreciation for our super-faithful tech team. As we've worked hand in hand over the last year and a half, the two groups are conjoined in their dedication to making our message clear and available to all. Finally, if there is one word that keeps returning over the last two years, it is "trust". Despite the raging waves around us, God is always in our boat. And with that, we can confidently sing out our prayer, "O Lord, we hunger for more of You. Rise up within us, may we know Your truth ... and Let the Peace of God Reign."
