Garden Ministry Circle Reflections and Report Joan Scharff and Norma Wright Co-Leaders The FBC Community Garden committee flourished in numbers and grew closer as friends as we worked together through the seasons in 2020-21. With restrictions as to how and where to gather safely during the Covid 19 pandemic, gardening provided spiritual food for our individual and collective souls as members of the FBC faith community. We welcomed new shrubs, a new tree, the gift of a new bench from the Moorestown Improvement Association, and more fellow gardeners—all helping to carry forward the mission of providing a space for gathering or reflection. And so, as we move into 2022 and its new seasons…. What will we plant? What needs dividing? What seeds will we start and when? All the while looking forward to the warmer days and new growth, anticipating the time of renewal when we co-create, cultivate, and care for our garden. Our garden ministry team would also like to thank everyone in the congregation who contributed time and/or resources to the community garden over the last year.
