Church for Everybody else...

Who We Are

From Our Vision Statement...
First Baptist Church of Moorestown is a diverse, genuinely inclusive community of faith striving to live out God’s love, justice, and compassion through the teachings of Christ.

From our Pastor...
We are a colorful group of imperfect people who have joined together who Accept, Care, Teach, and Share (A.C.T.S.)
Accept: Welcome each person exactly as we are, just as God accepts and loves us.
Care:     Care for all we have been entrusted with; to value and care for each person, each resource, and each part of creation
Teach:  To help each person find, explore, and use the gifts God has given us to participate in God's peacemaking activity.
Share:   To actively share the love of God with the world as disciples of Jesus; we educate, encourage, equip, and empower.

If you choose to join us for worship some Sunday, or this Sunday, here are some things that you can expect:
Greeters:  Our greeting team will be in the lobby with a smile starting at 9:30 AM.  They will give you a worship bulletin, answer any questions you might have, and even show you where to get the best brew in town- coffee is ready even before worship in the church fellowship hall!
Sanctuary:  Our worship space is on the second floor of our building.  Steps on either side of the entryway can get you there, or if you have need, and elevator is found at the end of the hall.  (The greeters can assist you in finding whatever you need)
Attire: We truly are a come as you are, church.  Whether you choose to dress in jeans, a suit, a dress, or a costume (which some of our littlest members do from time to time) you are welcome!
Refreshments:  Our church likes hanging out with each other- so after worship each Sunday there are light snacks and beverages in fellowship hall.  The hall is located on the lower level of the church building.  It's a great place to meet people and get to know each other better.
