A Note from Our Senior Pastor

God loves you, just as you are, no matter what. It is the message you will receive each week at FBCM. It is our primary message. God loves each of us, unconditionally. There is nothing you can do to make God stop loving you!

My favorite quote is, "It is a lie, any talk of God that does not comfort you."- Meister Eckhart. In this place, you will not hear messages of fear or judgment. You will hear that you are cherished, valued beyond measure, and a holy being of God. You will hear that God has given you spiritual gifts, and receive help discovering them, exploring them, and learning how those gifts might play out in community. You will hear about growing and deepening relationships, trust building, and living in response to
God's great love for us.

OUR VISION STATEMENT: First Baptist Church of Moorestown (FBCM) is a diverse, genuinely inclusive community of faith striving to live out God’s love, justice, and compassion through the teachings of Christ.

Ministry Highlights & Happenings

FBCM's food pantry started in the early 2000s with just a card table and a few non-perishable items in the church lounge. Today, it has grown into a multi-room operation that feeds over 200 people every week.

Serving the community has always been at the heart of our ministry, and we are grateful to partner with Moorestown Township and others to make a difference. Our Food Pantry brings together volunteers from both the community and our congregation.

‍As food insecurity grows, we are renovating our kitchen, which has not had working stoves and ovens for years, to better support the pantry. We hope to start cooking meals for our pantry guests and their families. Right now, the kitchen project is on hold because the mortar between the fieldstones has crumbled, and the cost to repair the church’s foundation is beyond our budget.  Even with these challenges, the pantry has stayed open, serving Moorestown and nearby communities.

Many people have asked how they can help with our Food Bank and Kitchen Project. If you want to learn more, please email fbcmoorestown@gmail.com. Thank you for your support as we work together to reduce food insecurity in our neighborhoods.

FBCM Celebrates
June Pride Month

Qmunity (FBCM's LGBTQIA+ and Allies Ministry Circle) will host a Pride BBQ on Sunday, June 28th from 11:30 to 1:30 at Pastor Jen and Sandy's home. Let's gather together, eat delicious food, commemorate the anniversary of the 1969 Stonewall riots (Pride is protest), and celebrate our FBCM LGBTQIA+ community and their contributions.
