Small Groups & Bible Studies
Small groups and Bible/Book Studies are great for deepening your faith and connecting with others in the FBCM community. We offer many different studies throughout the year; some in-person and others online. Please check back frequently as new small groups and studies occur throughout the year.
"Tell Me Something Good" Lenten Study- ALL are welcome to an 8-week Lenten Small Group led by Pastor Jen, via Zoom, beginning Wednesday, Feb. 18th. During our time together, we will use Scripture, art, music, and poetry as we move through this Lenten season. We will meet from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM. The Zoom will open at 6:30 for folks to come early and chat. The study will begin at 6:45 PM and conclude at 8:15 PM. Pastor Denise and FBCM's Social Witness & Action Team will lead a Bible Study, written by the American Baptist Home Mission Societies (ABHMS), entitled "Prophetic Church Public Faith: A Lenten Journey into Public Discipleship". This six-week Lenten journey invites churches into public discipleship grounded in Scripture and rooted in justice, humility, and hope. Weekly content launching Feb. 18th. Winter won't last forever! Take a walk outside during Lent as we prepare together to celebrate the coming of Easter. Walks will be held at various park locations, beginning at 2:00 PM on February 23rd. Any cancellations or changes in location will be announced in church on the prior Sunday, and also via email.
